Personal Background Info:

I was born from Swiss parents and now live in beautiful Laguna Beach , California . I grew up with a European background in the Middle East . Later I lived for many years in Liberia . There, in the heart of Africa , I further developed my love and understanding of the cultural, social and spiritual diversity of these regions.

Today when I paint flowers, landscapes or figures, my palette of colors evoke a space inspired by strong Mediterranean sunshine or the noonday glare on a Moroccan Souk”

Although I call myself a representational artist, I am finding that going more expressionistic is giving me more freedom to convey and explore my personal journey into the mysteries of Life
